The Animation Show 3

Improving upon last years offering, Mike Judge and Don Hertzfeldt's The Animation Show 3 touring animation festival, visits Atlanta, GA. A pre-show of SCAD student projects was presented by ASIFA Atlanta, immediately followed by a brief introduction of the selection process from entries from around the world.

After the show there was a short Q&A with Mike Judge and a Prize give away for The Animation Show 1 & 2 Box sets.



Mike and Steve both answered the same question, so due to the difficulty, Steve got this years poster as a consolation prize.








He seemed a little preoccupied, but I did get a Pic with Mike Judge.

Bright ass halogens at cirque du soleil

My recent trip to WDW.

This past October a group of close friends from "Turner"and my wife and I, all went down to what has become an annual trip to Walt Disney World for the "Mickey's not so scary Halloween Party". Last year we went as pirates, basically because we already had the stuff, but being that we all have a deep affection for the Haunted Mansion, we thought that we would do something new for this year. Liz, the bride, already had her dress, but most of the rest had to be made. So, in about two and a half weeks prior to the trip I dyed fabrics, drafted and cut patterns, and sewed my ass off. Not mention designing make up and ordering the hats. Not too bad for a first go, but we have already started planning revisions for this years pilgrimage.
